Care & Cleaning

Care & Cleaning (Wooden Products)

1. Daily Cleaning

Wipe dust daily with a dry, soft cotton or microfiber cloth to avoid scratching the finish.

For light dirt, use a slightly damp cloth (wringed dry) for quick wiping.

Do not pour water directly or leave wet cloths on the surface.

Avoid detergents, disinfectants, alcohol, bleach, steel wool or any harsh chemicals/abrasive tools.

2. Removing Oil, Fingerprints, Tea Stains

Use warm water with a small amount of mild neutral cleaner (wood furniture cleaner or gentle hand soap). Wipe gently and wring the cloth well.

Dry the surface immediately with a dry cloth to prevent water marks, discoloration or warping.

For stubborn stains, clean gently in small areas — do not scrub hard repeatedly.

3. Heat & Water Protection (Most Important)

Always use coasters, heat-resistant mats or waterproof pads under cups, dishes, hot pots and plants.

Prevent long-term contact with heat, water or sweat to avoid white marks, bubbles or warping.

4. Moisture, Sunlight & Scratch Protection

Keep away from direct sunlight, air conditioners, heaters and humidifiers to prevent cracking, fading or deformation.

Avoid dragging keys, knives or sharp objects on the surface; use a table mat for extra protection.

Maintain indoor humidity around 40%–60%.

5. Regular Maintenance

Apply a thin layer of wood wax oil or furniture polish every 1–3 months. Wipe with the wood grain to restore shine and prevent drying.

Minor scratches can be touched up with a matching furniture touch-up pen.

Care & Cleaning (Woven Items)

1. Daily Care
Avoid long-term exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading, brittleness and aging.

Dust gently with a soft brush or duster daily, or use a vacuum cleaner on low setting to remove loose dust.

Keep away from sharp objects to prevent snags, fraying and breakage; avoid long-term pulling by heavy items.

Prevent contact with oil, drinks, sauces and other stains; clean immediately if spilled.

2. Spot Cleaning (Small Stains)

Use a clean soft cloth dampened with diluted neutral detergent in room-temperature water, and dab gently.

Do not rub or scrub vigorously, as this may cause deformation or fraying.

Wipe off residual detergent with a clean damp cloth, then let it air dry naturally.

3. Full Cleaning (Curtains & Table Runners)

Recommended: Dry cleaning onlyMost woven fabrics (cotton-linen, wicker, rattan, etc.) may shrink or deform. Dry cleaning is the safest method.

Hand washing (only for washable woven items)

Use cold or room-temperature water with neutral laundry detergent; soak for 5–10 minutes.

Clean gently by pressing; do not twist, machine-wash or spin-dry.

Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then lay flat or hang to air dry.

Do not tumble dry, expose to strong sunlight, or iron at high temperatures.

4. Storage & Notes

When not in use for a long time, clean and dry completely, store in a breathable bag in a dry, ventilated area.

Avoid deep folding that causes permanent creases; hang or lay flat whenever possible.

For slight wrinkles, hang in a ventilated area to naturally smooth out with moisture in the air.
